Troop Elections Coming Up

Image
Troop elections will be held at the March 21 Troop Meeting. It is very important that every Scout attend. Your elections allow you to choose your troop leaders for the next six months. Plus, we must have a quorum to conduct elections, so your attendance is critical. As a reminder, all Scouts running for election should be prepared to give a one-to-two minute speech detailing why troop members should vote for you.  Scouts may run for more than one position in the Troop so long as they feel they can fulfill the duties of those positions for the next six months.  All Scouts registered with the Troop on March 21 are eligible to vote in the election so it is important to attend. The link for the Spring 2022 elections is live. Please have Scouts complete that  HERE . Scouts, be sure you have enough Scouting experience and rank to run for office. To run for SPL (Senior Patrol Leader), you must have a team of four ASPLs to run. Submit the form only ONE TIME. Make sure you check off whatever

Sea Base - Moved to 2024

Image
The Sea Base High Adventure trip has been moved to Summer 2024.  Registration opened on 1/12 but by the time we had a trek leader, most of the treks had been filled which limited our capacity.  Therefore, we've rescheduled Sea Base to Summer 2024 which puts Troop 1910 back on our normal High Adventure rotation. Lee Sampson has stepped up to be the trek leader for this experience. Much more information to come on registration, training, etc. for when we get closer to time.   At this time, Summer 2023 will be Philmont High Adventure.
