Hats Off and a Round of Applause

Huge thanks to Tiffani Boyd for coordinating another successful Art in the Square event for the Scouts to earn money again this year – thank you Tiffani!  Huge thanks to Shaun A., Harrison H., Steve Sprowls, Russ Brown, Michael Hunt, and Ed Attel for helping out with the Webelos/AOL event at the Keller Lions Club. Lots of AOL’s came by to visit with the Scouts and they did a great job of informing them about 1910 and handing out our infamous frisbees.

Thank You Kelly Morgan!

Thank you Kelly Morgan for all your work on the Fall Flower Sales. The Troop sold about 400 flats which is an awesome thing for assisting on future camp out fees, uniforms, high adventure fees, etc.  It takes a village to run this Unit.  Kelly is part of this village. Be like Kelly.

Letter of Thanks

Troop 1910 received a letter of thanks from the Comita family for all of those who made a contribution in their son's honor.  We wanted to share their letter with you so that it would reach those who donated: Dear Bob and Troop 1910, Your email is all we have to communicate a personal “Thank you” note to you. We are so very appreciative of your generous donation to Reid’s Memorial Fund. Your kindness and thoughtfulness are uplifting during this difficult and sad time. We are confident your donation will benefit many for years to come. What a blessing for us and what a beautiful way to keep Reid’s memory alive. With much appreciation, Copper, John and Reynolds Reid Comita, a Boy Scout in a neighboring Troop died of heatstroke while on a hike in west Texas this past summer.
