Summer Camp sign-ups have begun. This year we will be going to Hood Scout Reservation in Hazlehurst, MS June 9-15 . Check out all they have to offer HERE . There's no better way to get those much-needed merit badges or to achieve rank advancement than to attend Summer Camp. The price this year is $350 for a whole week of fun! Troop 1910 families please join our new recruits tonight for their first Troop meeting after the Crossover ceremony which took place this weekend. Remember, too, what it feels like to be the new face in the crowd? Extend a hand, introduce yourselves and welcome our new family members aboard. There will be lots of questions in the weeks and months ahead but the excitement of a new scouting generation is here. We look forward to meeting you all and seeing new faces at our Committee Meetings and at our upcoming events. Welcome to Troop 1910!

We are selling flats of 18 flowers in various types and colors. Aquatic School is a leadership program teaching Scouts and Venturers to be strong leaders, instructors of aquatics skills, and planners of unit aquatics activities. Aquatic School is much more than simply a “lifeguard school” — rather, it’s a leadership and skills development program that gives your Scouts or Venturers the skills needed to make them better instructors and better leaders. Aquatic School graduates are taught the fundamentals of Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat, the principles of teaching a non-swimmer, planning skills for Unit swims and float plans, as well as aquatic first aid and emergency procedures. Graduates also learn and hone public speaking and presentation skills, and 16 Scouting knots. Unit Leaders who sign up at least 2 A-School participants get an Aquatic School Recruiter t-shirt. Photo Source  - Wild Cave Tours @ Colorado Bend State Park For our February campout, we'll be going to Colorado Bend State Park where we will be doing some caving. This will also be a Philmont practice campout. "Come and get an introduction to real wild caving with The Adventure Tour, our beginner's version of an authentic Central Texas Caving experience. This trip is our intermediate difficulty tour and it takes you a little deeper underground than our Discovery Tour but it is a relaxed and easy expedition for anyone who is ready to crawl and get dirty!" The Discovery Tour is also available for anyone who prefers a less-intense experience." Please note there are costs associated with the cave tours.  The cost for the Adventure Tour is $25/person.
