Spring Flower Fundraiser

Image
Get ready for the Spring Flower Fundraiser. This is the quickest way to earn some money for your scout account. You will receive an email on February 11th with a link to the order form and flower pictures that you can print and take when you sell the flowers. We will be selling begonias, impatiens, petunias, marigolds, dusty miller, and moss rose. There will be 18 - 4” plants in a flat. They will sell for $17 which is $3-$5 cheaper than they typically sell for at the local nurseries. For each flat you sell, you will receive $6 for your scout account. The order due date is March 5  and the flowers are scheduled to arrive on March 26 . You will pick them up at the church and deliver them to the people who purchased them from you. One of the easiest ways to sell is to talk to people in your neighborhood who have winter flowers planted. These should be ready for replacement when our flowers are delivered. Our troop has to sell 250 flats for the company to deliver them for fre

Chisholm Trail

Chisholm Trail is a unique and unforgettable high adventure, the first of many for most scouts. While most High Adventure experiences require a scout to be 14, those who are 13 and above may attend Chisholm Trail. At Chisholm Trail, we get a pontoon boat for a week, do six high adventure outposts, and cool off with watersports all afternoon every day!  The outposts could have us fighting in living history battles, tubing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, jumping on the blob, and more! This summer, Bob Morgan will be our Chisholm Trail coordinator.  For more information, check out the Chisholm Trail experience HERE . If your scout is interested in attending this summer's adventure June 10-16, we need your commitment via $100 deposit per person no later than the February 12 Troop meeting.  Scout Accounts may be used for such purpose of course. Total cost estimated at $540. We need to reserve our boat(s) now, and # seats per boat is limited, so need an accurate count of attendees at t
